Mermaid Magic
Mermaids are Cheerleaders and Drill Team members in training. Ranging in ages from 5-7 our Mermaids get a chance to explore and learn about these sports, experience cheering sideline, dancing during halftime and competing at both the BAFL Cheer Competition and the BAFL Drill Team Competition. New for the 2026-2027 season our Mermaids will compete in one Varsity Cheer Competition in early December.
Mermaids Practice 3 days a week for an hour and a half with some additional practices in the 2 weeks leading up to competitions. Our Mermaid’s season begins the last Saturday of June through the beginning of December. Exact dates will be released closer to the season.
Mermaid Season Fee - $650
-Uniforms, Costumes, Gear, etc
-Does NOT include - shoes or make up
Sideline Cheer
Mermaids Cheer on the Sidelines for a game and a half every Saturday of the regular season. They also perform 2 half times of each game.
Home Games = PeeWee & Freshman
Away Games = Freshman & Sophomore
Drill Team Competition
Mermaids will learn and perform a dance at the BAFL Drill Team Competition in November.
Cheer Competition
Mermaids will learn and compete 2 routines at the BAFL Drill Team Competition. New for the 2026-2027 season: Mermaids will compete at 1 local off-season Varsity Cheer Competition.
